Artist Statement

Heroism: “How My Grandmother Achieved the American Dream” tells the story of my grandmother’s life and her achievements.  She is not the most conventional hero in a storybook sense, but her tale deserves to be told too.  She inspires me to work hard and seize every opportunity.
